The Metro Wine Bar and Bistro opened in 1988. The relaxed atmosphere, the great bistro menu and the impressive selection of wines by the glass and by the bottle made The Metro an instant hit. By now it has become a neighborhood classic and consistently rated as one of Oklahoma City's finest restaurants.

The bistro menu has evolved from a purely French style to a more eclectic blend of American Bistro with French, Asian and other world influences. The wine list still offers over 400 selections by the bottle. Every month, we offer 10 red, 10 white and 3 sparkling wines by the glass as well as a flight tasting of five reds or whites.

In addition to our regular menu and daily specials, the Metro is also known for it's quarterly changing Seasonal Menu. This allows our chefs to "stretch" and come up with some great dishes featuring seasonal produce and local ingredients to create a whole section of the menu revolving around seasonal specialties. Occasionally, one of these dishes is so popular that our patrons won't allow it to come off of the menu, so it becomes part of the regular menu.

The Metro frequently hosts winemaker dinners and other special events related to wine. If you are looking for a casual, comfortable dining experience with great food and wine in a warm, relaxed atmosphere, The Metro may become your home away from home.
